Rafe

1. Does your character believe in true love or soul mates? Love at first sight? He doesn't believe in true love, because he thinks it implies that there is one proper form of love and everything else is somehow inferior. He believes in soulmates, but not that every person only has one. And he believes in a sort of love at first sight.

2. Are they or have they ever been in love? He was in love with Jay, for a while. And he's very much in love with Davin.

3. What are their general feelings about sex? Sex is fun. If more people were less uptight about sex, they'd be a lot happier. Nobody should be pressured into sex if they're not comfortable with it, though.

4. How do they feel about sex without love? He's had a lot of it. It's as good for physical release as any other sort of sex, but it's crap for emotional release.

5. What about sex before marriage? He points to the fact that the only person he'd be wanting to marry is another guy, and is absolutely fine with sex before marriage.

6. What counts as cheating and is cheating forgivable? Sleeping with someone other than your significant other while you're in a relationship, without clearing it first. Cheating is sometimes forgivable, but it's the cheatee's decision, not the cheater's.

7. Have they or would they ever cheat? He hasn't yet, and he never would. He's got too many trust issues to do something like that to someone he cared about.

8. Are they a virgin? He says ahahahaha NO.

9. First partner? Most recent? Jay, back in high school; Davin.

10. What sort of experience do they have with sex? A lot. He's had sex pretty much anywhere you can think of, and in pretty much any position you can think of. He's fairly vanilla, though, and hasn't indulged in many kinks, beyond a bit of bondage and gag-play.

11. Do they have any fetishes or fantasies? Twilight roleplay, although that's honestly mostly becayse it's Davin's writing they usually roleplay to. He enjoys bondage, and prefers his sex a bit rough rather than gentle, and is a lot more of a switch than most people think, given how tiny he is.

12. How comfortable are they with their body? Usually fairly comfortable. Although he does have days where he doesn't want anyone to touch him below the waist because everything is shaped wrong.

13. With their partner's body? He loves Davin's body. He wishes Davin was more okay with his stomach being touched, because one of Rafe's favourite ways to sleep is with his arm around Davin and it's difficult to make sure his hand doesn't rest on Davin's stomach, but he loves pretty much all of Davin's body regardless.

14. Who gave them "The Talk"? Rafe didn't get A Talk. He was supposed to be a Good Little Catholic Boy who didn't have sex until he was married, and the pre-marriage counseling would cover sex, in theory.

15. Do they have any special skills? Dressing up?

16. Post-sex habits? Weird habits? Anything else? He likes to snuggle after sex. He also likes to wander around in one of Davin's shirts, between the sex and the next shower he has.

Mousetrap
[info]musify
2009-09-27 08:15 am UTC (link)
1. Does your character believe in true love or soul mates? Love at first sight? Mousetrap believes that all love is true, for a given value of true, and that you can't really quantify love. He's not so sure about soul mates. He's pretty certain that love at first sight is usually lust at first sight, but that doesn't mean it won't turn into love.

2. Are they or have they ever been in love? He's very much in love with Bucky.

3. What are their general feelings about sex? Sex is fun! You don't become the campus bicycle without liking sex.

4. How do they feel about sex without love? It happens a lot, and that's fine. He likes to have at least some affection there if it's going to be more than a one-night stand.

5. What about sex before marriage? Mousetrap doesn't like marriage as a concept, so he's fine with sex before it!

6. What counts as cheating and is cheating forgivable? Cheating is having sex with someone who isn't your significant other, without said significant other's permission -- whether it's blanket permission to have sex with anyone else, or specific permission to have sex with this particular other someone -- and, as far as he's concerned, it isn't really forgivable. Permission, people, it saves a lot of heartache!

7. Have they or would they ever cheat? No and no. Although he's probably been used by someone else to cheat with.

8. Are they a virgin? Ahahaha no. Not since he was sixteen.

9. First partner? Most recent? Julian Crooke, a classmate -- and now workmate -- when Mousetrap first started college; most recent is Bucky.

10. What sort of experience do they have with sex? A lot. Mousetrap has had sex in houses, apartments, at college, in parks, in the bathroom of a coffee house. And he's played with about a hundred different fetishes.

11. Do they have any fetishes or fantasies? He's very dominant when he's with the right person.

12. How comfortable are they with their body? Very comfortable. Mousetrap doesn't have an ounce of body consciousness.

13. With their partner's body? He loves Bucky's body. More generally, he's had sex with enough men and women that he's pretty comfortable with their bodies.

14. Who gave them "The Talk"? His father. Douglas gave him a fairly good Talk, when Mousetrap went away to college.

15. Do they have any special skills? Adaptability. Aside from blindfolds, Mousetrap is pretty much open to anything.

16. Post-sex habits? Weird habits? Anything else? Snuggling! Lots of snuggling.

Sturgis
[info]musify
2009-09-27 09:40 am UTC (link)
1. Does your character believe in true love or soul mates? Love at first sight? Yes, yes and yes. Sturgis is a romantic little lion.

2. Are they or have they ever been in love? Yes! With Caradoc, despite not realising this until long after other people had begun to suspect.

3. What are their general feelings about sex? Sex is a fun thing to do with someone you like. People shouldn't take it too seriously.

4. How do they feel about sex without love? Sex without love is fine. Sex without affection is sad.

5. What about sex before marriage? Pfft. Marriage is a social construct, and besides, gay people can't marry, so the idea of not having sex before marriage is an invalid one because it's frankly impossible or unfair to this whole sector of the population.

6. What counts as cheating and is cheating forgivable? "Cheating is when you're with someone, but you have sex with someone else, without various permissions beforehand. It's forgivable, but it takes time, and probably won't survive a second cheating... thing."

7. Have they or would they ever cheat? Nope! When he's with someone, he's devoted.

8. Are they a virgin? Nope!

9. First partner? Most recent? Emily O'Shaughnessy, in seventh year. She had fantastic boobs. Most recent partner was Caradoc.

10. What sort of experience do they have with sex? Enough to know what he likes.

11. Do they have any fetishes or fantasies? He tends to be bitey. Not hard, not even really using teeth much, more like... tasting is possibly a better word.

12. How comfortable are they with their body? Very comfortable! He lounges around the flat in just pants a lot of the time, and other times flops about as a lion. He's a comfortable sort.

13. With their partner's body? He's very careful to pay attention to his lovers and work out what works for them, because he likes making people feel good. So, very.

14. Who gave them "The Talk"? His mother. It was a bit awkward, but at least it didn't make any assumptions about who he'd want to be having sex with, and it didn't include any "this sort of thing is wrong" highlights.

15. Do they have any special skills? Staaaaaaamina. Working out what works for each different person.

16. Post-sex habits? Weird habits? Anything else? He has a habit of biting, and then immediately licking the spot he bit, a bit like a playful cat.

Byron and Sid! *does kind-of-reverse* Also, Carlton, because I am going to make someone else write stuff about a virgin.

Byron
[info]musify
2009-09-27 07:57 am UTC (link)
1. Does your character believe in true love or soul mates? Love at first sight? Yes, yes, and yes. Byron is a sappy romantic.

2. Are they or have they ever been in love? He's not sure. He's very fond of Landon; he doesn't know if it's in love. He'd like to think so, though.

3. What are their general feelings about sex? Sex is awkward, messy, and ultimately pretty fun.

4. How do they feel about sex without love? It probably happens a lot more than it should, but it's a fact of life. Sex without affection is another matter; he does not think that that's healthy.

5. What about sex before marriage? He's a bit uncomfortable about it right now, but in general, he doesn't see why you should have to wait.

6. What counts as cheating and is cheating forgivable? Doing anything sexual with someone who isn't your partner, while you're in a mutually monogamous relationship. Whether it's forgivable, he hasn't decided.

7. Have they or would they ever cheat? He hasn't, and he wouldn't.

8. Are they a virgin? Not anymore! :D

9. First partner? Most recent? Landon, and Landon. Byron isn't exactly a player.

10. What sort of experience do they have with sex? Noooot a lot. He and Landon have had sex about once.

11. Do they have any fetishes or fantasies? Not really. He's really very vanilla.

12. How comfortable are they with their body? Not at all. He doesn't dislike his body, but he's not comfortable with it.

13. With their partner's body? Reasonably. He'll get more comfortable with it with practice, no doubt.

14. Who gave them "The Talk"? He got a variant of The Talk from his father, but it didn't cover much about sex, just the facts of life.

15. Do they have any special skills? Not that he's found yet. He's working on it.

16. Post-sex habits? Weird habits? Anything else? Cleaning up afterwards. He does not like the idea of sleeping without having a shower.

Sid!
[info]musify
2009-09-27 08:27 am UTC (link)
1. Does your character believe in true love or soul mates? Love at first sight? No. Sid thinks that those are all very romantic notions, but not practical ones.

2. Are they or have they ever been in love? No. At least, he doesn't think so.

3. What are their general feelings about sex? He doesn't like it. He's not sure why, and it bothers him a bit, but he just... doesn't like sex. Or at least, has never had sex that he really enjoyed.

4. How do they feel about sex without love? The only sex he's had has been without love. He's pretty sure he can't be the only one.

5. What about sex before marriage? He's not bothered by the idea. If people want to have sex before marriage, then they should. If they don't want to have sex before marriage, then they shouldn't. He's not sure why people have so much trouble with this.

6. What counts as cheating and is cheating forgivable? Cheating is having sex or romantic interactions with someone not your significant other. Whether or not it's forgivable depends on the situation.

7. Have they or would they ever cheat? No and no.

8. Are they a virgin? Nope!

9. First partner? Most recent? Heather Collins, in his senior year at high school. She was the captain of the musical theatre group, and she dragged him into the wardrobe room during rehearsals for that year's musical. It wasn't great sex, at least for Sid; she seemed happy enough with it. His most recent encounter was with David Gavreel, a co-worker at the New York branch of his work, a few months before he transferred to Ann Arbor.

10. What sort of experience do they have with sex? Not a whole lot. He's had sex with three women and two men, and didn't really enjoy any of it very much. Ingrid Bellingham introduced sadomasochism to the mix when he was twenty; he's been turned off that pretty thoroughly.

11. Do they have any fetishes or fantasies? Not really. He doesn't think about sex much.

12. How comfortable are they with their body? Reasonably comfortable, in a non-sexual sense. He doesn't like the joint problems, though.

13. With their partner's body? Not particularly. Partly because he doesn't enjoy himself during sex, and thus assumes his partners don't either.

14. Who gave them "The Talk"? Mitchell. It was a really quite craptastic Talk, and he supplemented it with books.

15. Do they have any special skills? Not yet! Practice is required for special skills, really.

16. Post-sex habits? Weird habits? Anything else? Not particularly.
